Beginner Obedience:
(4 months & older) 7 weekly sessions
It’s never too late to start training your dog.
You will learn to modify your dog’s behavior through positive re-enforcement and form the foundation you will rely on to make your dog a well-behaved member of your family.
Emphasis is on: stay commands, controlled walking on leash, no jumping, learning the come command and problem solving.
Advanced Beginner Obedience:
Must be a graduate of Obedience Tales Beginner or Puppy Kindergarten class
This class is designed to pickup where beginner and puppy kindergarten classes left off - reinforcement and fine tuning of commands that were learned in these classes are further defined. More advance training in this class, including off-leash commands are covered.
Details of this class are discussed upon graduation of beginner and puppy kindergarten classes.
Advanced classes are offered Monday at 8:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m.

Canine Good Citizen:
The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program, established in 1989, is an American Kennel Club program to promote responsible dog ownership and to encourage the training of well-mannered dogs. A dog and handler team must take a short behavioral evaluation of less than half an hour; dogs who pass the evaluation earn the Canine Good Citizen certificate.
This program is the backbone of other exams, such as those given for therapy dogs, and is a good starting point for more advanced dog training.
